action alert!
Removing federal protections for wolves in the Northern Rockies led to 1,700 of these animals being slaughtered — and now the Obama administration wants to delist them all across America?

The delisting proposal is currently open to public comment—but only until March 27th. To save wolves, act NOW: Tell Secretary Jewell not to strip wolves of their due protections under the Endangered Species Act.
Wolves get a bad rap as predators. And it is fear of the species—rather than actual science—that is driving the delisting effort. But the truth is wolves aren't that different from us humans: they mate for life, they mourn their dead, they may even take special care of their ill.
As as for their supposed danger to humans, a whopping two whole people have been killed by wolves in the past hundred years. If you're going into the wild, you are exponentially more likely to be killed by a hunter than a wolf.
We are a much bigger danger to wolves than they ever will be to us, and that's why those federal protections need to remain in place. Please, before the public comment period is over, add your voice to the 30,000 who have already spoken up about delisting.
Tell the government NO to delisting wolves.
