Recently, the Obama administration and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) took a stand for animal rights by proposing a comprehensive ban on ivory products. But now, these critical new rules are coming under fire, threatening to unravel the progress we've made to protect vulnerable African elephants.

Support FWS' anti-poaching efforts and help save elephants by signing the petition in support of stronger ivory regulations.

In the past half century alone, Africa's elephant population has plummeted by 95%. Elephant slaughter in Africa is skyrocketing because of an increasing international demand for ivory — and the U.S. has the world's second largest market for illegal wildlife products. As a nation, if we can stop purchasing unlawful ivory, we can put a big dent in demand and curb poachers' activities.

Only when the world stops buying ivory will poachers stop killing elephants. Please send a message to FWS and tell them you support their work to save the world's elephants.
