Support a cause to hold BP accountable for dolphin deaths

action alert!
A new peer-reviewed scientific study links BP oil from the 2010 Gulf disaster to dolphin deaths and illness in Barataria Bay, Louisiana. BP has yet to accept responsibility for this tragedy.

BP is saturating the market with a pricey PR campaign to assure the public that the cleanup in the Gulf of Mexico is over and the Gulf is better than ever. But that's simply not true!

In 2013 alone, more than three years after the BP disaster, more than 4.6 million pounds of oily material were recovered from Gulf of Mexico shorelines. As long as wildlife continues to suffer and die, we cannot let BP get away with the damage it's done to the Gulf.

We're still waiting for BP to accept responsibility in order to properly restore the Gulf. For many dolphins, that will come too late. The lead author of a study on the impact of the BP oil spill on Gulf dolphins said, "I've never seen such a high prevalence of very sick animals..."

Many of these dolphins are not expected to survive, and BP shouldn't get away with the suffering it caused these animals and their habitat.

Hold BP accountable for the damage inflicted on innocent dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico.

Thank you for taking action,
