They're also branching out to the community to open urgent care and community facilities so they bring care closer to home and reduce unnecessary trips to emergency rooms. All of this is so much harder when an astounding $24.5 billion has been cut from the budget in the last year. Ask Congress to stop playing games with our health care. Restore hospital budgets! Every dollar cut is makes it more difficult for hospitals to keep ER wait times down. With each cut from hospitals' budgets, your quality of care and experience when you're sick, injured, and vulnerable suffers. Unforunately, it seems some of our representatives don't see the value in strong, efficient emergency rooms.
